The Lightbox

What has actually been built with Claude is a sourced list, not a vibe. The inspectable September 2026 artifacts are a Creative Commons Venus elevation map Anthropic says Claude Fable 5.1 produced from NASA Magellan radar, and GPU kernels Anthropic says Claude Mythos 5.1 wrote for seven open-source science models. Mythos protein-binder work is here only as vendor-reported experimental validation. Older public builds stay in the gallery without a model stamp, because their sources never named one.

The wall

Each plate is a sourced artifact. The overlay is the evidence trail: what was built, who claimed it, the license, and what independent reproduction would take. Arrow keys move between plates once the lightbox is open. Escape closes it.

How to read a plate

Artifact, then claim.

A plate is not a tutorial. It is a ledger line. The Venus map is in because a Creative Commons deliverable is attached to a named model. The GPU kernels are in because the announcement pairs a speedup with identical outputs, even though the files were unpublished at the last check. The protein-binder plate is in only as experimental validation, at the same high level as the announcement, because a molecular-design method does not belong on this site.

Older builds stay on the wall with their original sources. Spotify, Ramp, Rakuten, Zettair, GitHub Actions, and Anthropic’s internal examples are real records of Claude Code and the Agent SDK. They are not Fable 5.1 case studies. The source did not name a generation, so this gallery will not invent one.

The September 2026 science examples

Anthropic’s Fable 5.1 and Mythos 5.1 announcement, dated 1 September 2026, is the only source for the three science plates. Cite that page, not this one, for the underlying claims. The Lightbox exists to keep those claims in the same frame as the older sourced builds, and to keep the older builds from being quietly relabeled.

Claude Fable 5.1 and Claude Mythos 5.1 reports the Venus digital elevation model from Magellan radar, released under a Creative Commons license; Mythos protein-binder designs sent for experimental validation; and GPU kernel speedups on seven open-source protein and genomics models. This site repeats those results at that altitude and stops. It does not publish design methods, toolchains, or dual-use instructions.

Why some plates refuse a model name

The current generally available lineup is Claude Fable 5.1, Claude Opus 5, Claude Sonnet 5, and Claude Haiku 4.5. Mythos 5.1 is trusted access only. None of that lets an editor stamp a 2025 customer story with a 2026 model. If a later source names a generation for Zettair, Spotify, Ramp, or Rakuten, the plate will change. Until then the honest line is the one already on the card: the source does not name a model generation.

FAQ

What has actually been built with Claude?

As of 19 September 2026 the inspectable or source-backed artifacts in this gallery are a Creative Commons Venus elevation map Anthropic attributes to Claude Fable 5.1; GPU kernel optimizations Anthropic attributes to Claude Mythos 5.1; vendor-reported Mythos protein-binder experimental validation with no public artifact; and older public builds—Zettair, Spotify, Ramp, Rakuten, official GitHub Actions, and Anthropic internal examples—whose sources name a Claude surface but not a model generation.

Did Claude Fable 5.1 build the Venus map?

Anthropic’s 1 September 2026 announcement says Claude Fable 5.1 trained a neural network on NASA Magellan radar imagery to produce a new elevation map covering a third of Venus, released under a Creative Commons license. That is a vendor claim with a licensed deliverable attached. This site has not independently measured the map.

What does this page say about Mythos protein binders?

Only the high-level experimental-validation claim from the same announcement: designs sent to two external organizations, reported affinities and hit rates on public competition targets. There is no public artifact, no method, and no standalone build page. Independent reproduction would be a third-party lab paper, not a recipe.

Why don’t the older gallery cards name Fable 5.1 or Opus 5?

Because their primary sources do not. Zettair, Spotify, Ramp, Rakuten, and the Anthropic-internal examples name Claude Code or the Agent SDK and are silent on model generation. This gallery will not restamp unnamed older builds as current-model results.

Is Claude Builds affiliated with Anthropic?

No. Claude Builds is an independent editorial publication and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic PBC.
